Kids Informing Kids: A Student –Led Tour for Potential VIS Applicants

This hour long tour is geared toward kids and is led almost entirely by student leaders from our primary, junior and intermediate divisions. It is available to students interested in enrolling in all grades. These tours are available to any student interested in VIS, regardless of if their families have previously attended an Open House.

Upcoming Tours

Monday, January 14th, from 10:00am to 11:00am

Monday, March 4th, from 10:00am to 11:00am

Please note: The Kids Informing Kids Tour is not to be confused with our formal Student Orientation Days which take place following an official application.

ORIENTATION DAYS

To attend orientation, it is required that an application be submitted to VIS. Once an application is received, you will be contacted to arrange an Orientation Day.

We offer a full day Orientation for our Intermediate and Junior applicants. Applicants will meet their potential future classmates,  join in classes,  rotate between subjects, and complete a mathematics and language assessment (approximately 45 min). Applicants will also participate in an interview with our Principal, VIce Prin or Head Teacher.

Applying students must bring their lunch and/or can go out to purchase lunch. (Consent note from parent required).
